Who We Are and Why We are Here

Jonny Antoni

Founder

Commercial diver, Tattoo artist, Illustrator, Videographer, Salmon fisherman, and Kelp farmer.

Jonny got into Kelp farming through fishing. He sees it every day, he's out there and curious how we can utilize such an abundant resource in a sustainable way.

Many of us search for a way to help make our world a better place for people, plants, and animals alike. Only a few of us find it, and even less get the opportunity to make it happen.

Olivia Duner

Executive Manager

If we were a bunch of cows, Liv would be the lead herding dog. Quick, agile, instinctive and loud, she keeps the team organized, focused and safe from wolves.. sea wolves that is. Her background in environmental studies and agriculture, plus her passion for people and a thriving ecosystem have been perfectly mended by becoming a kelp farmer.

Liv is an Alaskan river guide by summer. She enjoys being a naturalist and purveyor of environmental enthusiasm! Her belief in pairing education and the environment are continued in the winter when she farms and teaches in the local schools.

Ozzie Beery

Processing | Operation | Production Lead

Ozzie Beery worked in the Gulf of Mexico as a commercial diver for over 5 years. It was here in the oil fields that he first met and worked with Jonny Antoni doing what is essentially construction on and beneath the ocean. Now, after years of collaborative schemes, some being successful, some not so such, Ozzie is once again joining Jonny for an adventure on the ocean. He sees kelp as a food of the future. A healthy, affordable, tasty, and sustainable source of energy for anyone and everyone who likes to eat!
